It is highly recommended to have the controller connected before launching the game to prevent binding resets. The controller must be used to reset the keybinds, if you only do so via keyboard and mouse it will only reset keyboard and mouse defaults and not the controller as well.
- Open the settings menu in-game using your controller.
- Note: The system will not state "Controller" under control scheme. But will show within the input window.
- In the "Gameplay" tab click on "Change input Keys"
- Select "Restore Defaults"
