Experimental Items are items that at first glance appear to just be Magic, Rare or Exalted items. However, they have a special affix that only appears on items found from encountering and defeating Exiled Mages, and cannot be crafted by conventional means. Experimental affixes only appear on Boots, Belts and Gloves.
