Set items are very similar to uniques in terms of their design and what effects they offer. However, equipping multiple items from the same set grants additional bonuses, which are shown on their tooltips.
Sets will typically have between 2 and 4 pieces.
Set items are not able to be modified through crafting, however they can be shattered to Set Affixes in a Woven Echo. The Set Affixes created are dependent on the Set item which was shattered.
These Set Affixes can then be crafted onto normal, magic, rare or exalted items of the same type from which that Set Affix came from, creating a Reforged Set item. This Reforged Set item counts as a Set item for the Set bonuses.
