Loot Filter is a tool that helps in filtering out items you might not want to pick up, or to enhance the display of items you do want to pick up. Having a Loot Filter feature in the game helps in allowing the loot drops to be plentiful and customizable to your specific needs. You can open the Loot Filter User Interface by clicking SHIFT + F by default.
A single Loot Filter can have up to 75 individual rules, and these rules can be freely moved around or disabled without needing to delete them.

The rules at the top of the the filter take priority over rules below them. For example, if the top rule in the filter would be "show Unique helmets", and a rule below it that would be "hide all helmets", you’d see all Unique helmets while rest of them would be hidden.
Loot Filters can be exported and imported directly in the User Interface without closing the game. Filters exist in a folder that can be opened from the UI, and placing another filter there will make it available to be used in-game, but a filter can also be imported directly from copying it if your clipboard has a valid Loot Filter saved on it.
When a Loot Filter is enabled, it is possible to temporarily disable it by holding a keybind (X by default).
